Our foundation was rooted in a humble but bustling medical hall that operated in the heart of Singapore in the 1950s. From retailing products of other brand names, we moved on to focus on the research, development, manufacture and wholesale of our own traditional Chinese medicinal products near the late 1960s. In 1971, Poli Medical Company was founded by CEO Mr. Foo Wen Chuen. Our main office and first factory premises were set up along Sims Avenue in Singapore.

By the 1980s, Poli Medical Company had gained a strong foothold as a trusted distributor of quality traditional Chinese medicinal products – including chicken essences, herbal essences, medicinal pills, powders and skin application products – to over 700 medical halls all around Singapore. Our popularity was attributed to the good quality and efficacy of our products, strong after-sales service and commitment to business integrity.

In 1988, Poly Natural Health Process Pte Ltd was incorporated to control the distribution and international marketing of products manufactured by Poli Medical Company. To expand upon our capabilities, Poly Natural also became one of the earliest bottled bird’s nest and canned abalone manufacturers and distributors in Singapore. In 1989, our food factory was established in Bedok in Singapore. Following which, our second factory in Malaysia was acquired.

Till today, Poly Natural’s expertise remains in the contract manufacture and international distribution of bottled bird’s nest, as well as bottled hashima and tonic essences, following tried and well-received traditional recipes. Also, we have further expanded our product range to include various other health and beauty drinks like collagen drinks, detoxification drinks and superfruit juices. Manufacturing activities are carried out according to modern scientific methods in our GMP (Medicines and Health Supplements)-certified and HACCP-certified (Foods and Health Drinks) facilities.

Today, we still follow our tried and proven traditional recipes, and we adhere to sourcing and using only the best quality ingredients.
